26 ਮਾਰਚ 1931 – ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਨੇ 1931 ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਤਤਕਾਲੀ ਸਮਰਾਟ ਰਾਜਾ ਜਾਰਜ ਪੰਜਵੇਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕਲਕੱਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਬ੍ਰਿਟਿਸ਼ ਇੰਡੀਜ਼ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਬਦਲ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਭਾਰਤ 'ਤੇ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਈ ਸਾਮਰਾਜਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ।

Bangladesh Independence Day: March 26th is celebrated as Independence Day in Bangladesh. It marks the declaration of independence from Pakistan in 1971.

ਬੰਗਲਾਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਸੁਤੰਤਰਤਾ ਦਿਵਸ: 26 ਮਾਰਚ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਗਲਾਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਤੰਤਰਤਾ ਦਿਵਸ ਵਜੋਂ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ 1971 ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦੀ ਘੋਸ਼ਣਾ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
