23 March 1931- Bhagat Singh, Shivaram Rajguru, and Sukhdev Thapar are hanged for the killing of a deputy superintendent of police during the Indian struggle for independence.

23 ਮਾਰਚ 1931- ਭਗਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਸ਼ਿਵਰਾਮ ਰਾਜਗੁਰੂ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਖਦੇਵ ਥਾਪਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਇੱਕ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਸੁਪਰਡੈਂਟ ਆਫ਼ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੀ ਹੱਤਿਆ ਲਈ ਫਾਂਸੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ।

World Meteorological Day: This day is observed to mark the establishment of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) on 23rd March 1950. It aims to raise awareness about the importance of meteorology and climate-related issues.

ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਮੌਸਮ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਦਿਵਸ: ਇਹ ਦਿਨ 23 ਮਾਰਚ 1950 ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਮੌਸਮ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਸੰਗਠਨ (WMO) ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਮੌਸਮ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਲਵਾਯੂ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਮੁੱਦਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ।

International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination: This day is observed by the United Nations to promote equality and to combat racial discrimination worldwide. It commemorates the Sharpeville massacre in South Africa on 21st March 1960, when police opened fire and killed 69 people at a peaceful demonstration against apartheid pass laws.

ਨਸਲੀ ਵਿਤਕਰੇ ਦੇ ਖਾਤਮੇ ਲਈ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਦਿਵਸ: ਇਹ ਦਿਨ ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਮਾਨਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਸਲੀ ਵਿਤਕਰੇ ਦਾ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ 21 ਮਾਰਚ 1960 ਨੂੰ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਅਫਰੀਕਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਰਪਵਿਲ ਕਤਲੇਆਮ ਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਦਿਵਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਦੋਂ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਨਸਲਵਾਦ ਕਾਨੂੰਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਇੱਕ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀਪੂਰਨ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੋਲੀਬਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ 69 ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।
