12 ਮਾਰਚ 1954 - ਸਾਹਿਤ ਅਕਾਦਮੀ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਲਈ ਬਣਾਈ ਗਈ ਸੀ।

12 March 1993 – The infamous Mumbai bomb blasts happened. These blasts were a series of 12 bomb blasts that happened in different parts of the city. Dawood Ibrahim along with his subordinate’s tiger and Yakub Memon was responsible for this blast. Over 250 people died in the attacks with more than 700 injured.

12 ਮਾਰਚ 1993 - ਮੁੰਬਈ ਦੇ ਬਦਨਾਮ ਬੰਬ ਧਮਾਕੇ ਹੋਏ। ਇਹ ਧਮਾਕੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਏ 12 ਬੰਬ ਧਮਾਕਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਲੜੀ ਸੀ। ਦਾਊਦ ਇਬਰਾਹਿਮ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਮੇਮਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਧਮਾਕੇ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਸੀ। ਹਮਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ 250 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਲੋਕ ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ 700 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਹੋਏ।

ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਗੁਰਦਾ ਦਿਵਸ: ਇਹ ਦਿਨ ਗੁਰਦੇ ਦੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਰਦੇ ਦੀ ਬਿਮਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਰੋਕਥਾਮ ਅਤੇ ਇਲਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
