5 April 1961 – The first ‘Indian Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Limited Company’ sponsored by the Government of India was established.

5 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ 1961 – ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਪਾਂਸਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਪਹਿਲੀ 'ਇੰਡੀਅਨ ਡਰੱਗਜ਼ ਐਂਡ ਫਾਰਮਾਸਿਊਟੀਕਲਜ਼ ਲਿਮਿਟੇਡ ਕੰਪਨੀ' ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।

International Day of Conscience: This day is observed globally on April 5. It was established by the United Nations to promote a culture of peace with love and conscience.
