Celebrating 30 years of Ambedkarism in Canada

The photos of "Celebrating 30 years of Ambedkarism in Canada", a symposium hosted by Chetna Association of Canada at the Douglas College in New Westminster, BC, Canada on June 11, 2011.  Ambedkarite leaders along with Dr. Jay Smith of Athabasca University and singer Raj Dadral were honored for their contributions.  Dr. Larry Devries presnted his book (Religions of Asia, UBC Press) which capatured Ambedkarism and contributions of the local communities.  Mohan Banga, Surinder Ranga, Lachman Birdi, Ram Partap Kaler, Sita Ram Ahir, Bill Basra, Chanchal Mal, and Raju Kamble were also recognized and honored for starting the Ambedkarite movement in Canada.
