When Meera Bai came to Chittor She requested her father-in –law for a temple for her prayers. Maharana Sangram Singh built a small temple near the Kumbh Temple which was named as Kumbh Shyam temple. The temple is known as meera Bai temple also. There is a small Canopy (chhatri) built at the temple in the memory of Meera Bai’s Guru Ravidas ji. The footprints of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji are marked on the cemented floor of chhatri and it’s clearly written that these footprints are of Meera Bai’s Guru Ravidas Ji. This is the big historical proof of guru ship of Ravidas ji Maharaj built by so-called upper caste kings.

ਜਦ ਮੀਰਾ ਬਾਈ ਚਿਤੌੜ ਆਈ ਤਾਂ ਉਸਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਹੁਰੇ  ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਮੰਦਰ ਬਣਵਾਕੇ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ  ।  ਮਹਾਰਾਣਾ ਸੰਗਰਾਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕੁੰਭ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਇਕ ਮਂਦਰ ਬਣਵਾਇਆ ਜਿਸਨੂੰ ਕੁੰਭ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਮੰਦਰ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਇਹ ਮੰਦਰ ਮੀਰਾਂ ਬਾਈ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।ਉਥੇ ਮੀਰਾ ਬਾਈ ਦੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕ ਛਤਰੀ ਬਣੀ ਹੈ । ਛਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਸੀਮੈਂਟ ਵਾਲੇ ਫਰਸ਼ ਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੁ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਬਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਥੇ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਮੀਰਾ ਬਾਈ ਦੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਹਨ । ਇਹ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਗੁਰੂਤਾ ਦਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡਾ ਇਤਹਾਸਿਕ ਸਬੂਤ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਇਕ ਓੱਚੀ ਜਾਤ ਦੇ ਕਹੇ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਬਣਵਾਇਆ ਹੈ

There is a kund (pool) at Ellora, Hyderabad. This kund is called Guru Ravidas Kund. Another kund is at a place called Mandur near Kanshi is also known as Guru Ravidas Kund. Another Guru Ravidas Kund is found at Junagadh, Kathiawarh. These all kunds states that Shri guru Ravidas ji maharaj has travelled all across India to preach his ideology.

ਇਲੋਰਾ ਹੈਦਰਾਬਾਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕ ਕੁੰਡ ( ਤਲਾਬ ਹੈ । ਇਸ ਕੂੰਡ ਨੂੰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਕੁੰਡ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ । ਇਕ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਕੁੰਡ ਕਾਸ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਨਜ਼ਦੀਕ ਇਕ ਜਗਾਹ ਮੰਦੂਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਹੈ ।  ਅੇਸਾ ਹੀ ਇਕ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਕੁੰਡ ਜੂੰਨਾਗੜ ਕਾਠੀਆਵਾੜ ਵਿਖੇ ਵੀ ਹੈ । ਇਨ੍ਹਾ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੁੰਡ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਵਿਚਾਰਧਾਰਾ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਲਈ ਸਰਵ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ।
